Title: Chasm
Year: 2019
Material: Three Layered Silk Organza, Acid Dye, Pigment, Canvas
Dimension: 91.0cm x 91.0cm (30inches x 30inches)
The work was first inspired by Mt. Fuji and I traced the shape of it. My Mt. Fuji consists of piled “Suffering” being created by our endless desires. I incorporated objects which signify females’ desire, which come out from chasms. Four duck toys represent my hope that freedom is always guaranteed avoiding racism, spying and war traps and the Statue of Liberty to stay on top of the unstable mountain.
